Name: Robin Gunn
Age: 18
Gender: Female

Appearance: 5'7, curvy and well-muscled. Fair skin. Her hair is red, thick, and very wavy, almost curly. She normally wears it down with maybe a clip or something in the back. It falls to just above her butt. If she needs to get it out of her way, she'll throw it up into a bun. She likes make-up a lot, favoring red lipstick and nail polish. She's attractive and she knows it, and will flaunt it whenever she can.

Backstory: Robin grew up as one of the relatively well-to-do citizens of District 2, considering her father's position at the weapons development center. Robin's mother never needed to work and she took care of Robin until her death when Robin was four. Robin and her mother were very close and her death deepened the rift between Robin and her dad, who has always been pretty wrapped up in his work. Robin was picked to join the tribute academy after excelling at sports and basic combat conditioning in grade school, and her father pushed her into enrolling. She has to bring honor to the district and all, and it's her duty to contribute her best skills. She didn't think much of it at the time because she wasn't yet old enough to participate in the Games, but as she got closer and closer to the magic age of eighteen, she began to regret joining the academy, but it was too late to back out. All she could do was keep her brother from joining. In the academy, she met Flynn when she was about sixteen. They became fast friends, and eventually hooked up about a year later. Since she met Flynn, she's got bigger aspirations of starting a family and maybe teaching dance, but that's an awfully cushy lifestyle even for District 2. Her mentors at the academy chose Flynn and another girl to volunteer for the Games this year, which pissed Robin off pretty bad. She honestly believes she can win the Games, and winning would set her up for life with a nice bit of money. It'd be perfect to have that cushion for raising kids. She can't really achieve all that if she dies in the arena, sure, but that's all the more reason not to die.

Personality: Manipulative, controlling, cutthroat. Robin will do anything to get out of the arena alive. She is very self-aware and has no problem playing to her strengths. With the few things she does hold close to her heart, she loves deeply and protects fiercely. While she enjoys her role in the Games, the opportunity to bring honor to her district, and the fact that she's so well-suited for becoming a tribute, Robin would never have chosen this life. She wants to win to sort of... check it off the bucket list. To prove to herself (and everyone else) that she's capable of taking on the world. She wants to finish this chapter in her life so she can begin a new one. Plus, winning comes with a cushy seat in the lap of luxury. It'd be perfect for raising a family of her own.

Notable Traits:
--She's pregnant. She only just learns this the night before the Games, and no one knows except for Sebastian, Serenade, and an Avox whose help she enlisted for a pregnancy test. She's not sure how to feel about this baby, but she definitely wouldn't have signed up for the Games if she had known. Suddenly, her world is off balance and it scares her.
--Weapon of choice: Knives, especially throwing knives.
--In her spare time, she's a dancer. She has great balance and coordination and she knows her body well.
--She doesn't like to be dirty, even in the arena. She'll do what she can to keep up appearances for the cameras.
--She hums to herself when she's concentrating on something, or if she's nervous. She tries to play it off like a "devil may care" sort of confidence but really it just reminds her of her mother's lullabies.
--Robin has no qualms with killing since she's been conditioned into it being an okay thing. The one exception is the young kids, the twelve-, thirteen-year-olds in the arena. Robin will kill them if she has to, but she'd really prefer not to be a part of it. She has a soft spot for kids. She's accustomed to a fairly luxurious lifestyle; she doesn't deal well with hunger and thirst, despite attempts to condition herself to get used to it. She's also best suited to function as part of a team, not flying solo. She'll be relying on the other careers to deal with finding shelter and food, as well as donations from sponsors.
